List of Available Schools Offered for Participation in the Public School Choice Option:

Public Law Public Law 107-110, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) requires each school identified for Title I School Improvement to offer Public School Choice to all students who attend the identified school. While we are required by law to inform our patrons of the “Public School Choice” option, it is important to note that Friend Public School students do not have another choice of schools within our district and as a result our students do not qualify for Public School Choice.
The NCLB act also mandates that the school post a list of available schools offered to eligible students to participate in public school choice.  Since no such option schools exist within the Friend Public School District, such a list is not applicable.
